Happy Minyan is hosting our first ever group outing! Join us as we venture down to the South Coast Botanical Garden in Palos Verdes. The stars are descending from the night sky. Set off across mysterious grounds to discover a celestial pathway of lustrous light, cosmic visions, and astral song. Immerse yourself in illuminating encounters of lighting, projection and sound, and connect with the stars before they return to the sky above.

ABOUT

Astra Lumina LA is a one mile long enchanted night walk through a botanical garden of varying (natural and uneven) terrain that guides visitors on a journey to discover the wonder of visiting stars. This immersive night walk uses light, audio & projection technologies to create a multi-sensory experience. 

COST

$30/per person, parking is included

To be included in the group rate, tickets MUST be purchased by 12/10 by 8pm. No exceptions.

Located on the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula, just 30 minutes from both LAX and Downtown Los Angeles, South Coast Botanic Garden's 87 acres of natural beauty will host the first-ever Western United States experience of Astra Lumina. Among the Garden's expansive trails, special paths have been newly created that take you deep into the lush landscape for this immersive experience.  Get directions

TRANSPORTATION 

Guests will need to arrange for transportation to and from this event. We encourage carpools. If you are interested in joining a carpool or would like to offer a ride, please let us know by sending an email to admin@happyminyan.org to help coordinate the drive. 

IMPORTANT NOTES

Please arrive at the venue 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. We will need to all be present before entering the venue. Please be respectful of the called-for arrival time.  If you are parking offsite, please give yourself an additional 15 minutes to park and ride the shuttle to the venue. This is to ensure you have enough time to check-in before entering the experience. Once the group is checked in as a whole, individuals  will then be able to go at their preferred pace.
